Python Snakeskin Shed in Glass Vial
Use for display, in spellwork, or whatever your craft calls for. Genuine, ethically sourced ball python shed skin.
Curious about snakeskin shed? It's a natural process that doesn't hurt our house python—in fact, we often help him to shed his old skin, as the process can be rather itchy for him. Snakes shed their skin to allow for further growth and to rid themselves of parasites that may have been adhered to their previous skin. As a snake grows, its skin stretches to its limit, preventing further growth. A new layer of skin is formed, and the snake then sheds its old skin at the end of this phase. Young snakes shed their skin frequently, as much as every two weeks, because they are in an active state of growth. Older snakes, on the other hand, may only shed twice a year.
