About this piece

Black salt is a folk magical protective tool. Unlike standard sea salt, which is typically used as a purifier, black salt is specifically absorbing and banishing. It does not just cleanse. It traps and holds.
Ours is a family recipe that has been used for many years: a base of epsom and Himalayan salt carrying the full Protection Herb Blend, eggshell, and ash from protective workings.
Working with it

Ingredients
Epsom salt, Himalayan salt, lavender, rue, rosemary, stinging nettle, black pepper, clove, motherwort, black mustard seed, hyssop, agrimony, eggshell, ash from protective workings.
When the working is done
Return used blends to the earth: bury them, cast them into running water, or release them into wind blowing away from you.
