Rose is one of the most widely used love herbs in Western herb-lore, appearing in love and attraction workings from Roman antiquity through the medieval herbals into modern folk practice. Petals carry the kind of attraction that draws gently rather than demands.
Working with it
- A pinch in the shell or bowl over a base of pink salt
- Pressed into softened candle wax at a safe distance from the wick
- In an organza bag with a rose quartz chip as a carried charm
Ingredients
Rose, jasmine, lavender, hibiscus, allspice, rosehips, elderflower, damiana, cinnamon, elderberries, orris root.
When the working is done
Return used blends to the earth: bury them, cast them into running water, or release them into wind blowing away from you.
